Moranbah State School boasts large open spaces for students to learn and play in, with a sports oval and tennis court, four playgrounds with play equipment and two large undercover areas.
All students have access to digital resources including desktop and laptop computers. We are a digital school; most teachers run 'Active Inspire' on their C4T laptops and interactive whiteboards, building lesson frameworks in Flipcharts. Our school library is newly refurbished and provides a range of resources for students.
In 2011, our school hall was built and opened. This facility is used for parades, special events, as well as various sports.
Our Special Education Program (SEP) supports students with a range of disabilities to participate in high quality schooling. The SEP building is centrally located in the school campus and has:
- Two teaching spaces
- Bathroom and combined laundry
- Kitchen facilities
- Internet connected computers
- Offices/meeting spaces
- A fully enclosed shaded courtyard with soft fall flooring
